Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) are ‘good’ fats which are beneﬁcial to the body, in particular the heart, they are essential as the body cannot produce them. Omega-3 and omega-6 are two types of EFAs which are beneﬁcial to the body when the levels of each are balanced.
